The public-facing Service does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising.
WordPress, our hosting environment, security features, and other technologies necessary to operate the Service may use cookies or similar technologies for purposes such as security, administration, session management, and signed-in functionality.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies that are necessary for operation of the Service may cause certain features to function improperly or become unavailable.
If our use of cookies or similar technologies materially changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any additional notice or choices required by applicable law.
4. How We Disclose Information
We do not disclose personal information except as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We may provide information to companies or individuals that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email, data storage, backups, security, maintenance, and technical support.
These service providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by applicable law and their agreements with us.
Legal, Security, and Safety Purposes
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, court order, or lawful government request;
- protect or enforce the rights, property, or interests of StructuralAid, LLC;
- investigate fraud, security incidents, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Use;
- protect the rights, property, safety, or security of our users or others; or
- respond to an emergency or other situation where disclosure is permitted by law.
Business Transfers
Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, transfer of the Service, dissolution, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
At Your Direction or With Your Consent
We may disclose information when you direct us to do so, request that we communicate with another person or organization, or otherwise consent to the disclosure.
5. Sale, Advertising, and Profiling
StructuralAid, LLC does not currently sell personal information.
We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, and we do not rent personal information to third parties.
We do not currently disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
If these practices materially change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any notices, consent mechanisms, or opt-out rights required by applicable law will be provided.
6. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
The Service may contain links to websites, services, or resources operated by third parties. StructuralAid, LLC does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their privacy, security, or data-handling practices.
Some pages may also contain content or functionality provided by third parties. When third-party content is loaded or when you interact with it, the applicable third party may receive information such as your IP address, browser information, or information about your interaction with that content.
Third-party websites and services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to them.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate business, administrative, security, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes.
The appropriate retention period depends on factors including the nature of the information, the reason it was collected, whether it remains necessary for an ongoing communication or business purpose, security considerations, and applicable legal requirements.
When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, destroy, or de-identify it, subject to applicable law and reasonable technical limitations.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information under our control against unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure.
However, no method of Internet transmission, electronic storage, or information-security system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by us.
You should use reasonable care when deciding what information to submit online and should avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary for your request.
9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, the laws applicable to StructuralAid, LLC and your information may provide you with certain privacy rights.
Where applicable, these rights may include the ability to request:
- access to personal information we maintain about you;
- information about how your personal information is collected, used, or disclosed;
- correction of inaccurate personal information;
- deletion of certain personal information;
- a portable copy of certain personal information;
- restriction of or objection to certain uses of personal information; or
- withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
You may also have additional rights under applicable law, including the right to appeal certain decisions concerning a privacy request or to lodge a complaint with an appropriate regulatory authority.
These rights are subject to applicable legal requirements, limitations, and exceptions and may not apply in every circumstance.
To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section below and clearly describe your request.
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity, your authority to make a request, and the information to which the request relates before responding.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.
10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” setting. There is not a universally applicable standard governing how websites must respond to Do Not Track signals.
Because StructuralAid does not currently use cross-site behavioral advertising or tracking for targeted advertising, enabling a Do Not Track signal does not currently change our website practices.
Some browsers and extensions also provide opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”). StructuralAid does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change and applicable law requires us to recognize an opt-out preference signal, we will do so as required by law.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 years of age.
StructuralAid, LLC does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without any notice or parental consent required by applicable law.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances where collection was not permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to StructuralAid, please contact us using the information below.
12. Visitors Outside the United States
StructuralAid, LLC is based in the United States. If you access or use the Service from another country, information you provide or that is collected through the Service may be processed or stored in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.
Where privacy or data-protection laws outside the United States apply to StructuralAid, LLC or to particular processing activities, we will handle personal information as required by applicable law.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our information practices, technology, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Service and update the effective date at the top of this page. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
